European law firm Fieldfisher announces today the appointment of corporate partner Jacques Meunier. Jacques joins the firm’s Brussels office from NautaDutilh along with associate Céline Tallier.
Jacques focuses on corporate law, and more specifically on private and public M&A transactions. He acts for domestic, European and international clients, advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, takeover bids and IPOs.
Jacques clients include companies in the healthcare, life science, retail, luxury goods, construction and private equity industries. Admitted to the Brussels bar in January 1997, he has worked at Benelux law firm NautaDutilh for the past 12 years and had been an associate partner since 2008.

Fieldfisher continues to build its European presence, growing its offices in Belgium, France, Germany and the UK, with a focus on the firm’s Corporate, IP & Technology and Regulatory practice areas. Jacques appointment will strengthen the firm’s Brussels corporate team lead by partner Marie Evrard and brings the total number of partners in the European Corporate Group to 26.
