Following the 2015 general election, The Rt Hon Oliver Letwin MP has been promoted to the Cabinet as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in overall charge of Cabinet Office.

Muhoro v Charity Commission for England and Wales (CA/2015/0004)

Judge Alison McKenna does not consider that it would be appropriate for her to exercise her discretion to extend time to allow the Appellant to appeal against a Charity Commission Order.

Section 26 of the Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2009 state that:

"(1) An appellant must start proceedings before the Tribunal by sending or delivering to the Tribunal a notice of appeal so that it is received—

(a) if the appellant was the subject of the decision to which the proceedings relate, within 42 days of the date on which notice of the decision was sent to the appellant; or

(b) if the appellant was not the subject of the decision to which the proceedings relate, within 42 days of the date on which the decision was published."
