Joint letter highlights Budget's negative impact on donations to charity
NVCO, ACEVO, Charities Aid Foundation, Charity Finance Group, Charity Tax Group and the Institute of Fundraising have written to the Chancellor regarding the cap on income tax reliefs announced in the Budget to highlight its negative impact upon donations to charity.

The Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme
HMRC has issued a consultation document on proposals for the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme. The consultation runs to 25 May 2012.
The Cabinet Office and NESTA announce a further 16 awards to be funded from the £10million Innovation in Giving Fund which aims to find and back innovative ideas for increasing volunteering and charitable giving.
