Updated guidance on when trading subsidiaries cannot make gift aid donations to parent charities
The Commission will update its CC35 guidance to say that a distribution cannot be made from a trading subsidiary’s "reserves" for the purpose of a gift aided distribution to a parent charity. This follows a technical report from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Mayor of London announces charitable giving plan
By registering their contactless debit or credit card at www.pennyforlondon.com Londoners can donate one penny, or more if they wish, every day they travel on London transport.
Proceeds will benefit disadvantaged young Londoners via the Mayor's Fund for London and other London children's charities.
