The 7th Muenster Banking Law Day is organised under the leadership of Prof Dr Matthias Casper from the Banking Law Research Centre at the University of Muenster and is established as a leading forum for the analysis of practice-relevant questions of banking, capital market and supervisory law.
The focus of this year's Muenster Banking Law Day is on issues of "digitisation in banking law". The thematic spectrum ranges from online banking after the implementation of PSD II, liability for the launch and sale of FinTech investment products to the highly relevant topic of legal issues relating to initial coin offers, crypto currencies and smart contracts. A presentation by RiBGH Dr Eva-Maria Derstadt on the current case law of the XI Civil Senate of the Federal Supreme Court will also be part of the attractive programme.
