Official Launch of the Saving Faces National Facial, Oral and Oculoplastic Research Centre

Jennifer Buchanan and Jill Greenfield attended the official launch of the Saving Faces National Facial, Oral and Oculoplastic Research Centre (NFORC) today. This was a unique and highly educational event combining cutting edge medics and stories from inspiring patients. The focus was discussing current care and future research for patients with facial injuries and problems. In the foyer were a number of fantastic paintings from the Saving Faces art project.

Jennifer Buchanan says: "This is just an example of the great work Saving Faces do. As a patient of Simon Holmes, lead Facial Trauma Surgeon, I can only reiterate the comments and praise from the speakers today. This centre is a world first which will innovate and transform the lives of patients."
