Jill Greenfield's case against Harvey Weinstein has been listed in The Lawyer's Top 20 cases of 2018.
Head of Personal Injury Jill Greenfield launched the UK’s first civil claim for damages for alleged sexual assault against disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein on behalf of a private client. The claim was lodged in the High Court late in 2017 against Mr Weinstein, the Weinstein Company UK and the Weinstein Company LLC.
As the case proceeds, it was named in the Top 20 cases of 2018 by leading legal journal the Lawyer. The court date for trial is yet to be announced. Mr Weinstein denies allegations of non-consensual sex.
