Jennifer Buchanan comments on the Tower Bridge Boat Crash

Nine people have been injured after the Millennium Diamond, owned by City Cruises crashed into Tower Bridge just before midday yesterday.  It is not clear how the accident happened although the Marine Policing Unit of the Metropolitan Police are investigating what went wrong, according to the Evening Standard.

The law applicable here is straightforward and there is clearly a breach of duty to take such care as in all the circumstances is reasonable to ensure the safety of a person on board the boat.
