As a privacy law specialist, I lead Fieldfisher Ireland's Privacy Team. My work involves advising clients on a range of data protection issues including regulatory investigations/engagement, ePrivacy, compliance, international data transfers and privacy related litigation. Alongside my work with professional services firms, cloud computing companies, multinationals and internet service providers, I also advise a number of public authorities in Ireland on data protection compliance. I have particular experience working with clients on crisis management mandates, advising them on their most challenging and sensitive data breach issues as they navigate their way through a crisis.
On the employment side, I advise on a broad range of employment advisory and regulatory issues, including executive appointments and terminations, internal and regulatory investigations, group reorganisations and restructurings, outsourcings and the employment aspects of public and private M&A deals. In addition to advisory and transactional work, I also represent clients before the employment tribunals and the civil courts in respect of all manners of employment law disputes including unfair/wrongful dismissal claims, employment related injunctions and board disputes.
