Minister for Health Signs Regulations to Assist with Prescriptions during COVID-19 Emergency

Today, 3 April 2020, the Minister for Health Simon Harris TD, signed into law two Statutory Instruments ("SI") which is aimed at alleviating the additional pressures which is currently on our GP's, pharmacists and patients in relation to the accessing and dispensing of prescriptions during the current COVID-19 emergency.

The SI's makes certain amendments to the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) Regulations 2003, as amended, and the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2017.
