McDowell Purcell advised Galetech Group on the €36m financing of the 20.33 MW Carrickallen Wind Farm

March 14, 2018 McDowell Purcell’s Commercial and Renewable Energy Teams recently worked on closing the project finance of Carrickallen Wind Farm, Co. Cavan. The wind farm is being developed by Galetech Group, with long term financing of €36 million being provided by HSH Nordbank. McDowell Purcell advised Galetech Group on the transaction.

Carrickallen Wind Farm consists of 10 Senvion MM82 and MM92 turbines and has a capacity of 20.33 MW which is sufficient to supply approximately 10,500 Irish homes annually with clean, renewable energy.

McDowell Purcell’s team was led by Feilim O’Caoimh, Partner and Head of the Commercial and Renewable Energy Unit.
