Sebastien Nanteuil

My practice focuses on sophisticated cross-border acquisitions and transactions on behalf of foreign acquirers (with an emphasis on US, UK and Japanese investment) purchasing French or European companies, but also assisting European sellers in their negotiations with foreign purchasers.

My area of expertise also includes Information Technology law, in particular vis-à-vis disrupting technologies. I frequently negotiate, for Tiers 1 entities, various IT agreements, more specifically licensing agreements, cloud computing, broadcasting technology and video-gaming software.

Additionally, I have experience in international tax planning and financial analysis due to my work across Luxembourg, Australia and the USA.

Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked for international law firms in France and Luxembourg, and a listed investment fund company. I also have completed several internships for investment banks in France and one for a Federal Court in the USA.

I hold an LL.M (distinction) in Business Law from the University of Minnesota Law School (USA)  and a Master's Degree (distinction) in International Business Law from the University of New-South Wales (Sydney Australia). I also have a Master's Degree (Master 2) in Advanced Company Law, a LL.B and a Graduate Diploma (DU) in American Legal Studies from the University Lyon III (France).

Fluent in English and in French, I am a member of the New York State Bar and of the Paris Bar.
