Connecting the pro bono community

Iprobono iProbono is a non-profit online network connecting organisations in need of legal assistance with lawyers and students who want to use their legal skills for the public good

The network's global reach allows volunteers to engage in projects around the world and organisations to source assistance across jurisdictions.

One of the firm's flagship pro bono initiatives. iProbono was founded by one of our solicitor's, Shireen Irani, in 2009 and incubated within the firm. Staff from across the firm contributed, from trainees and associates assisting in building the network, to partners and directors providing legal advice and business services support.

As an online network, iProbono connects civil society organisations in need of legal assistance with lawyers and law students who want to contribute their skills to the public good. The Observer and NESTA cited iProbono as one of Britain's New Radicals, and it has won the backing of the Ford Foundation and Commonwealth Foundation to build a culture of pro bono in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
