Fieldfisher Supports the Fight Against Facial Discrimination and Child Bereavement
Every two years the firm votes for a new corporate charity to support.
Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals to help children, young people and families rebuild their lives after child bereavement.
Every year they train over 7000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.
Changing Faces is there to help people who have a disfigurement find a way to live the life they want.
They help people conquer fears, take the first steps and ultimately take control, by being by their side as they define their own sense of identity, their purpose and help build people’s confidence to live their life on their terms.
Wood Street Mission, the Manchester office's charity of the year, supporting struggling local families by providing clothing, school uniform, toys and household supplies.
They run a variety of projects, including summer holiday book clubs (where the children can take their favourite books home) and donations of food, children's clothes, toys and Easter Eggs. Wood Street's most recent project is SmartStart, which provides struggling families with non-branded school uniforms, coats, shoes, sports kit and stationery.
With previous fundraising events including teams of runners for the Brighton Marathon, London Marathon, an endurance cycle ride and river marathon, Christmas Carols, and Bake Sales, amongst other things, our staff take an active and enthusiastic part in raising money and awareness for both charaties.
Future events include the fun quiz nights, the infamous tough mudder and also a team trekking challenge.
Tower Hamlets Food Bank
|Alongside our chosen charity we also support Tower Hamlets Food Bank for their annual Christmas Hamper Appeal.|
In December 2013 our produce donation was one of the largest Tower Hamlets Food Bank had received from businesses - totalling an impressive 336kg! We aim to improve on this amount for every subsequent Appeal.
