I have been a leading expert in preventing and resolving business property disputes for more than 25 years. I have a particular expertise in commercial rent reviews and am also known for planning and development work, including innovative agreements for London's Shard of Glass tower and the flagship Belstaff store in Bond Street.
In 2002, I was awarded the OBE and in 2007 I received an honorary membership of the Royal Intitute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), both for services to the property industry.

Legal 500's sources recommend me as someone who is 'clever, committed and battles like hell for her clients'.
I was a member of the UK Government's Property Advisory Group from 1997 to 2003, and worked on the reforms of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 as well as devising the PACT scheme for resolving lease renewal disputes.
I have spoken widely for the RICS, Law Society, Arbrix and Index, as well as various professional conferences, and am part of the RICS training team for surveyor-arbitrators as well a visiting speaker at Department for Communities and Local Government training. I have had articles published on a wide range of dispute related topics.

As a qualified arbitrator I have made awards on disputes related to property, professional negligence, service charges and insurance.
In my spare time I am a district councillor and from 2011-12 I was leader of Epping Forest District Council. With my family, I am a season ticket holder of Watford FC.
