I have more than 15 years of experience in contentious and non-contentious Intellectual property fields. To specify, I have rich expertise in patent protection, patent infringement litigation, patent invalidation, patent prosecution, and patent prior art retrieving. I am also specialised in IP portfolio management, IP related anti-competition cases, freedom-to-operate analyses, validity analyses, licensing, as well as conducting negotiations on various IP issues.
I have successful experiences in representing multinational and local enterprises in dozens of patent invalidation and infringement litigation cases. I have also undertaken hundreds of patent prosecution cases in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceutics, material sciences, telecommunications and machinery design. I am able to handle and resolve IP disputes both domestically and internationally. I am also skilled in advising Chinese clients on their IP protection strategies.
I have worked as a patent examiner for the Patent Re-examination Board of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) for over 8 years. I have acquired profound skills of current patent practice in China from this post.
I have passed the National Bar in 2015 and the National Patent Bar in 2011.
I received LL.M degree in Civil Law from China University of Political Science & Law and B.S. degree in Polymer Science from Fudan University. I am a Chinese native speaker and fluent in English.
