Amy Reynolds, Senior Associate, IP and Technology, Protection and Enforcement
I am a dual qualified solicitor, admitted in England and Wales and Australia (New South Wales). I specialise in trade mark and brand protection law and have over nine years of multi-national experience in this field. I advise a wide range of local and international clients in relation to all aspects of brand protection including portfolio management, trade mark clearance searches, registrability issues, prosecution of trade mark applications, assignments, co-existence negotiations, oppositions and revocation and invalidity actions.
I act for clients in a range of industries including aviation, finance, energy and resources, fashion, media and entertainment, and for manufacturers of household and consumer products. My career highlights include managing the trade mark aspects of global re-brands for two international airlines and securing the registration of a 3-D trade mark for a major toy manufacturer.
In addition to contributing to the Fieldfisher SnIPpets Blog, my articles and essays have appeared in several professional publications, including Intellectual Property Forum, Intellectual Property Law Bulletin and Managing IP.
I am a member of The Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand.
I have an A-Level in German and can speak French at a conversational level.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, horse riding and participating in medium distance running events.
