Beverley Potts, Senior Associate (PSL), IP and Technology, Protection and Enforcement
I have 15 years' experience in Intellectual Property, 10 of which were as a fee earner in leading global firms. I have experience advising on a wide range of contentious IP issues, including trade marks, copyright, patent and design rights and have represented a variety of clients in the technology, pharmaceutical, fashion, cosmetic, financial services and automobile sectors. I have particular skill in managing global anti-counterfeiting and other IP enforcement programmes. I gained my Higher Rights of Audience as a result of my IP litigation experience in the Courts of England & Wales and New South Wales.
I am now a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) in Fieldfisher's IP&TPE department. I am responsible for keeping the department up to date with changes in the law, which involves training, know-how, current awareness, identifying topics for articles, writing and editing them and blogging and tweeting on topical issues. I regularly contribute articles to professional publications and write for our online IP blog, SnIPpets.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my three young children but have a keen interest in travelling and skiing.
