Christopher Leung, Solicitor, Intellectual Property
I am a newly qualified solicitor in the IP and Technology Protection and Enforcement Group at Fieldfisher. My experience spans a broad range of IP rights including patents, trade marks, copyright, database rights and domain names, but I have a particular interest in patent litigation in the life sciences field, and have been involved in several cases involving major pharmaceutical companies.
I trained at Fieldfisher, during which time I spent 12 months in the IP Group working on a high profile trade mark case in the High Court. Prior to joining Fieldfisher, I obtained a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London and spent two years working at a top-ranked patent litigation firm. This background has come in helpful in cases with technical elements, for example those involving Markush formulae.
Outside of work my interests include travelling and skiing.
