Will Hampshire, Associate, Employment
I am an associate in the employment and pensions department, working for a broad range of clients. I have particular experience in Employment Tribunal claims, representing both employers and employees on a variety of matters including unfair dismissal and a range of discrimination claims. Earlier this year I assisted in defending a high profile racial discrimination claim brought against one of the firm's clients.
I also have experience in non-contentious matters. I recently advised an employer on consultation requirements for TUPE and collective redundancy and drafted the constitution document for an Employee Representative Forum.
I have a particular interest in sport and the employment law aspects involved. I have recently written an article for Law in Sport on the EU employment law barriers to introducing a quota system in England, to limit the number of foreign players playing in the Premier League. I have also written articles for a number of journals including the Employment Law Journal and CSR Law Reports.
