I am a competition, regulatory and trade
associate at Fieldfisher who advises clients on competition and commercial risk in a fuss-free, straight-forward and business-savvy way.
My goal is to help clients to scope the risks that are relevant to their business, enabling them to manage risk issues in a way which complements their commercial strategy, helps their business to thrive and, ultimately, saves them money.
I work with both private and public sector clients across a range of sectors, including transportation (road, maritime, rail), financial services and retail. I have particular expertise in the food and beverage sector.
My portfolio covers all aspects of EU and UK competition law (including cartel investigations, dominance issues, restrictive agreements, merger control, distribution and 'route to market' strategies, litigation) and counselling clients through a dawn raid. My expertise also includes public procurement, state aid and EU regulatory matters.
Recently, I have advised on an international cartel in the transport sector, conducted a competition compliance risk review, advised on EU distribution strategies for suppliers of fast moving consumer goods and delivered antitrust and dawn raid training for a major food and beverage manufacturer. Client feedback on one of my recent training sessions from the Head of Legal is that it was "the best training ever received on any topic".
I have a Distinction in the EU Competition Law Diploma, a Distinction in the Diploma in Legal Practice and an LLB (Hons) Law (2:1, 69%) from the University of Sheffield.
In my spare time, I keep fit, travel and socialise with my family and friends. My home is Central London but, true to my roots, I call Manchester my second home and often travel back to visit family and friends (and, when I can, to watch a Manchester City match with my dad).
