Miryam Boston, Solicitor, Intellectual Property
I am a newly qualified solicitor in the Intellectual Property Enforcement and Protection Group at Fieldfisher. I trained at the firm during which I spent a year working across the firm's IP departments gaining experience of enforcement, protection and also non-contentious IP work. I also spent six months on secondment at the BBC working in Rights, Business and Legal Affairs.
I advise on a wide range of IP disputes in relation to patents, copyright, trade marks, passing off and domain names. I advise clients across a broad spectrum of industry sectors, with a particular focus on media work.
I studied Law at Queen Mary University of London and am pleased to still be involved with the university through coordinating Fieldfisher volunteers attending their Legal Advice Centre.
In my free time I enjoy dancing whether it's attending ballet and ballroom classes or performing traditional Scottish and English dances with my dance team at events and festivals across the country.
