Fieldfisher partner and co-head of the Regulatory team, Sarah Ellson, has been selected as one of nine members of The Guardian's Public Leaders Network 2018 editorial advisory board.
Sarah Ellson, has been selected as one of nine members of The Guardian's Public Leaders Network 2018 editorial advisory board. The newspaper's Public Leaders Network is the leading news site for all staff working in public services. Every year the network asks for nominations for the board places from its members.
The nine leaders chosen for this year’s board represent many different public services, including central and local government, social care, emergency services and the voluntary sector. All give up their time to help plan the network’s online content and events in 2018.
Sarah's practice is focused on health and social care and bioscience regulation, but she also works in education, surveying, sport, security and psychotherapy. As well as overseeing the investigation of complaints and attending disciplinary hearings as an advocate or legal adviser to panels, she also advises on audit, policy and strategy matters in the design and implementation of regulatory frameworks.
Sarah comments: "With so much going on in the Public Sector 2018 is an exciting year to be involved in shaping what the media covers, from the impact to Brexit, cost pressures in health services and the impact of new technology. I am delighted to have been nominated and selected to this influential public sector role".
Sarah is recommended by both leading UK legal directories Chambers and The Legal 500.
