Rapha Festive 500km

Over the festive period I battled the elements; gale force winds, hail and torrential rain, to complete the Rapha Festive 500km. That's 500km between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. For the cyclists amongst you - you can find my stats on Strava! The motivation was to raise some money for Saving Faces. My surgeon, Simon Holmes, who operated on me after I suffered a nasty facial fracture following a collision at the Velodrome this this summer, is a trustee for the charity and his expertise and kindness are unequalled. I wanted to give something back to a very worthy charity devoted to the treatment of facial injuries.
