Fieldfisher instructed by passengers injured in Salisbury train collision

Following the terrible train crash on Sunday 31st October in Salisbury, Fieldfisher has been instructed by two of the injured to pursue a personal injury claim on their behalf. Thirteen people were taken to hospital, including a child, and the driver of one of the trains has sustained life-changing injuries.

The accident appears to have happened after the Great Western Railway service from Southampton to Cardiff collided with a South Western Railway train from London Waterloo to Honiton in Devon as both entered the Fisherton tunnel, close to the city centre.

Jill Greenfield and Dushal Mehta will represent the victims who have instructed them. Jill said that fortunately those involved appear to have suffered only minor physical injuries but she expects the psychological injuries to be very serious, not least since passengers were trapped on the train believing they would die.

For more information, please contact Jill Greenfield by calling 0330 460 6778 or by emailing jill.greenfield@fieldfisher.com, or contact Dushal Mehta by calling 0330 460 6751 or by emailing dushal.mehta@fieldfisher.com.
