Bus accident – double decker bus overturned in South Mimms

A double decker bus has overturned and collided with a car in Hertfordshire on the A1081. It is understood that 45 people were injured as a result, including 8 with serious injuries. Jennifer Buchanan, Associate at Fieldfisher, says " This is a terrible accident and I can imagine very scary for all those involved. We hope that the victims are able to make a full recovery with the best support available to enable to return to their everyday lives as soon as possible. At the moment we understand that police investigations are ongoing and we hope that the cause of this accident is made clear to the victims and that lessons are learnt as a result to reduce the possibility of this happening in the future."
