Another three cyclists hit in one day, one incident ends in a miraculous rescue

The Evening Standard has reported on how 3 cyclists have been hit by vehicles on London's streets. Yesterday's incidents occurred variously in East Croydon, Kennington and Spitalfields.
The Kennington incident happened as the result of a collision between a bus and a cylist using Cycle Superhighway 7, and once again highlights the urgent need for better separation between vehicles and cyclists using the cycle superhighways.

A cyclist hit by a car in Spitalfields managed to escape serious injury after 10 people managed to lift a car that had trapped her underneath.

This is after the spate of incidents reported last week, where it has been confirmed that two people have now died as a result of their injuries
