Our commitment to diversity and inclusion
The Talent Management Committee work on improving diversity and equality at the firm with a focus on supporting the delivery of an inclusive talent strategy, particularly for increasing the number of women in leadership positions at the firm.
The members of the Committee can be found below.
Through the work of the committee and the wider Partnership, we want to build a more diverse workforce where all of our people feel supported and are nurtured to succeed. This is in keeping with our decision to sign up to the National Equality Standard and is reflected in the firm's Values: Respect, Integrity, Responsibility and Teamwork.

"I am totally committed to improving diversity and inclusion at this firm. I hope my legacy will be a more diverse law firm. Diversity is not just about having more women partners (which is welcome) but about ensuring that women, LGBT staff, black and ethnic minorities and people with disabilities are well represented at the top of the firm with positions of power and influence. I believe that law firms that have diverse workforces perform better, clients expect us to be diverse and it is also simply just the right thing to do"
"Diversity is at the heart of the way Fieldfisher operates. From the Managing Partner – who features in the FT OUTstanding 100 LGBT Business Leaders List – to our diversity-led graduate recruitment and school leavers schemes, we have built a structure that puts an emphasis on both diversity and excellence. We believe we are creating a culture that will show other law firms what real commitment is."
Diversity in Practice
For Fieldfisher's diversity statistics, please click on the link below. These statistics have been taken from the Law Society's 'Riliance Survey' which was completed by 60% of our total workforce at the beginning of this year. We survey our staff on an annual basis and analyse the result against industry figures.
Our employees have established a number of networks that make valuable contributions to the professional and social life of the firm, supporting and promoting different groups within the business. The LGBT & Allies Group, the Black & Ethnic Minorities and International groups, and our gender equality initiative Women in Law are all very active within the firm.
Fieldfisher is proud to be ranked 15th among law firms in the Stonewall Diversity Index. We have a thriving LGBT Group and we have held events for both staff and clients emphasising Fieldfisher's commitment to diversity in the workplace, to education and to our partner LGBT charity, Diversity Role Models.
