Whether you want to expand or re-engineer your existing business, franchising offers a proven alternative to traditional capital intensive techniques. Franchising allows you to take advantage of your franchisees' capital, local experience and enthusiasm to develop your business in ways that are simply not possible through traditional organic means.
Our role is to be part of your team, working with you to grow your business and develop and implement appropriate strategies. Franchising is just one possible option. We understand that your business is unique and that one solution does not fit all. We help you decide whether franchising suits your business and consider whether alternative channels such as agency, distribution, licensing, strategic alliances and hybrid structures might be more commercially and culturally appropriate.
We understand that everyone's perception of franchising is different too, so we have devised the following tools to help you better understand the issues:
A Franchise Dictionary defining common franchise terms;
A Simple Set of Questions to help you decide whether franchising is right for you; and,
Our Frequently Asked Questions page, providing further information and guidance.
We advise businesses across a range of sectors including retail and fashion, food and beverage, hotel and leisure, education, healthcare and service based concepts. Whether you are looking at franchising in the UK or internationally, we can support you.
Our franchising disputes team helps both UK and international franchisors, master franchisees and developers on dispute avoidance and resolution.
Our franchising team is consistently ranked by independent legal directories, as the leading franchise practice in the UK, Europe and globally.
